Default How is innovation made

Recently i read an article which stated the reasons for innovation. I was really very much inspired to read that. It says that innovations are not done by scientists or researches but by lazy people who tries to find a short cut method to acheive the same. Cheers for lazy guys.

In some cases this is correct, however most of the technology we have today is from the thousands of work hours don't by non-lazy people.

I accept. Thousands of man hours are being spent in the research labs. I did not say its wrong information. But this is also a fact. You cant just neglect it. And also it is one of the funniest way to look at innovation and how it is made.

Its not always true. Any person can be innotive whther he is lazy or a scientist. I think innovations can be made only if you are working in that direction, nothing happens by itself.

I believe that innovations are not only made after proper planning but one can also make innovations through accidents. Its the inner quality of individuals. Some are more innovative than others, so even a lazy fellow can be more innovative than a genious.

Yes and lets not forget luck. Luck has been responsible for the beginnings of some of the most amazing ideas in the history of mankind. Think of the apple and Newton!

There's a saying that goes,"Necessity is the mother of invention." Whether it takes a lazy person looking for an easier way to do something or a talented creative scientist to develop a new product, it all stems for someone needing something new to take care of a problem or need.

I don't know if the word lazy is totally correct. Maybe inventors were trying to be more efficient. Yeah....need to remember that. I'm not lazy, I'm efficient.
Anyway, I sure would rather have a motorized lawn mower than one that I would have to push. I'd rather have a push mower rather than a pair of clippers to cut my lawn. See where I'm going with this?

You are correct dude. There will be a necessity for a lazy goose also. Hence he will anyways find to try and do it with minimum effort. But i do not say that always innovations are done by the lazy people only. There are so many brains working behind the labs. Lets not the contribution made by the lazy people too. lol.
