First off: you can skip reading this post. Under normal circumstances, I would not even be posting right now.
But these are not normal circumstances. I made a
commitment to Blog every day for 30 days that I intend to keep. So here we are. You and me. Friday night. I know at least one of us has had 5 beers already.
This thread and post at Fark had me laughing out loud last night:
Well John, it’s a toy, and it’s a torpedo, what would we name this toy for little boys? Wait, I GOT IT
Fark is still the best at inventing Internet Memes. Although the
Joke explainer Meme over on Reddit is pretty funny.
I never mentioned it before, but I gave twitter a try back in April and Hated it - just like I thought. Username: Quadszilla. Twitter is the dumbing down of the web.
What else? what else?!? . .. oh I had a pretty bad Guild Wars Addiction like 4 months ago; but I was able to quit it cold turkey. It had the best pvp system of any game I’ve ever played. Normally I stay clear of games like that, but I was looking for an escape; and it was provided. Recently, I’ve taken to wasting some time playing Civ 4 and various mods in my spare time. It’s addicting, but in a different way than guild wars (or any Good MMORPG). Anyone who says good video games aren’t addicting is lying worse than a tobacco exec.
And on the quitting / tobacco vibe: I did quit smoking about 2 months ago. It’s really pretty easy when you use some kind of nicotine replacement for the first week you quit. Of course, as always happens when you quit smoking, I put on about 7 pounds

Also, like 2 weeks ago I woke up and went to have a cigarette only to realize that I don’t smoke anymore. That was a letdown.
I do appreciate you guys leaving comments even after I’ve been gone from blogging for so long. The questions do make it easier to come up with stuff to blog about. Some people have mentioned that the commenting has been acting funny: if you find that to be the case, please use the contact us form from the forum.
Have a great weekend!
